Job description

Welcome to Project Deschutes!

In this important, investigative project, you will be asked to research different domains in an attempt to understand website transparency, which can serve as the first step of trustworthiness. The purpose of this work is to reduce the reach of untrustworthy content and to identify domains that are not transparent or not honest in how they portray the authors or organizations behind the content being posted to social media feeds.

Project Details:

Weekly Production Hours: 20 hours a week, 4 hours daily (you can pick which 5 days you work each week). Extra hours are frequently available.

Project Time frame: Ongoing - this project is expected to continue for the foreseeable future

Successful candidates often share some or all of the following characteristics:

strong attention to detail

strong reading comprehension skills in English

ability to review examples and apply rules to novel data
