Computer Voice Rating project in Mexico | Online job
Entry-level job Guadalajara (Guadalajara) Teaching
Job description
In this project, you will listen to and evaluate the naturalness of a range of different computer-generated voices speaking in US Spanish, rating how natural they sound (number scale) and providing some extra comments at the end about what you like and dislike about each voice.
The evaluation you provide will be used for research into the production of natural-sounding synthetic speech, helping to develop existing technologies in computer voices in order to improve their authenticity.
This will be a once-off task paid in a single lump-sum payment in USD (amount TBC when the task length is known, as this amount is calculated based on the estimated task completion time). You will need to use a computer with the Firefox or Chrome browser to access the tasks properly - the tool is not compatible with mobile devices.
This project is expected to start in late June, and you will be contacted with further details if you are selected for the task. Please note that participants are selected at random based on our demographic requirements, so we cannot absolutely guarantee a spot on the project to all who apply, but we will do our best to include as many people as we can!
