He/she will be accountable to the office manager and will be expected to have an intricate part in their development within their role. They would have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and be able to show initiative within their role to ACT quickly and decisively and illustrate a desire to succeed within the role; show understanding and enforcement of the company ethos and legislation and be a team player
Under the mentoring of the office manager they should show the ability to self-evaluate and actively seek new learning objectives for their own continual professional development
Key Responsibilities

Understand the necessity of maintaining the company ethos

Ensure company uniform is worn at all times

Be aware of and adhere to company policies as set out in the terms and conditions of employment and the company handbook

Responsible for ensuring policies/procedures are maintained

Under the direction and supervision of the office manager provide clerical and administrative support with direct regards to sales and recruitment and the smooth running of the office

Answering incoming calls and where necessary responding to enquiries from any person(s) contacting or visiting Apollo Teaching Services via phone; text; email or face to face

Ability to operate efficiently all equipment within the office e.g photocopier; fax machine; computer systems etc

Following training and under the direction and supervision of the office manager, advertise for and play a key role in the interview and induction of pre-selected teachers

Record booking requests from schools and consequently identifying and contacting a suitable supply teacher to meet the schools requirements

Personally confirming the above booking with both the teacher and the school and entering the information accurately onto the computerised booking system

Contact schools and arrange visits; follow up such bookings and maintain a log of such calls and bookings

Ensure that any mileage undertaken in your role is documented accurately; provided on a monthly basis to the finance department by the 18th of every month and receipts provided

Provide a professional service to all schools; staff and visitors who may contact Apollo Teaching Services

Contribute to the overall ethos and aims of Apollo Teaching Services

Be aware of and comply with all policies in the staff handbook

Participation in any relevant training and / or learning activities as identified by you or your Office Manager

Establish constructive working relationships and communicate effectively with all person(s) operating within Apollo Teaching Services

Undertake responsibly any other administrative procedure requested of you by the Office Manager
Under the direction and leadership of the regional manager the successful candidate will be invited to join a highly motivated team of recruitment consultants in continuing to expand development of the Newcastle area.
- The hours of work are Monday - Friday 41.5 annualised hours per week
- A clean driving licence is essential
- Please be aware that due to the nature of the post and our clientele an enhanced DBS will need to be undertaken for the successful candidate
