Part time counsellor based in Cheshire

Job description
We’re an up and coming occupational health provider specialising in the education sector. We’re currently looking for a part-time counsellor to provide telephone and Skype based counselling sessions to those suffering with conditions such as stress, anxiety, marital issues and bereavement.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible with working hours and have the appropriate qualifications and experience to offer counselling sessions.
Skills and competencies
We’re looking for an empathetic and helpful individual who is able to offer the necessary counselling sessions primarily to teachers and staff in the education sector. Some previous experience of working in the education sector is favoured by not fundamental.
The person should be naturally personable, helpful and keen to proactively support clients. The candidate should have a positive mental attitude and be willing to take on new challenges

About the company
APL Health is a newly established business acting as a sister company to Absence Protection, who are a staff absence insurance provider. APL Health staff will work closely with the claims department of Absence Protection to support clients (primarily schools) with various staff absence challenges, and support insured individuals (primarily teachers) with their health concerns.
Initially APL Health will be operating primarily within the education sector. As the company grows this will extend to further industries too.
