We’re hiring!

Aon Hewitt is currently recruiting a
DC Investment Analyst to join our team in London. The Analyst will be
primarily responsible for providing support to Client Managers in all
aspects of DC Investment consultancy.

About the Role

As a DC Investment Analyst some of your key responsibilities will involve;

  • Actively participate in developing
    advice to clients by helping the lead consultant generate ideas on the
    future direction of particular clients.
  • Work off own initiative on client specific projects.
  • Coordination of all client work and timely delivery to consultant for review.
  • Possess sufficient technical DC
    investment knowledge and experience to be able to proactively assist
    with the provision of routine advice to clients and begin to contribute
    to the formulation of bespoke advice.
  • Efficiently manage deadlines and be in a position to work independently with little guidance for routine matters.
  • Possess a good understanding of
    clients’ needs to be able to manage clients for routine investment
    advice and day to day contact.
  • Manage routine client projects, with modest oversight from a more experienced consultant.
  • Serve as day-to-day contact on smaller clients although will not be able to sign out authorised advice.
  • Prepare meeting materials and participate in meetings.
  • Ensure quality by reviewing work and applying technical expertise.
  • Responsible for working in accordance
    with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with
    the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management
    of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely
    affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.About you

    As a DC Investment Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include;
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Professional qualification (mainly CFA or FIA) preferred or equivalent
  • Good experience of the financial services' industry.
  • Good understanding of applicable regulatory and legislative rules.
  • General understanding of the DC market, including products, legislation and regulation
  • Understanding of the benefits of investment platform arrangements for DC schemes
  • Understanding / willingness to learn the features of different asset classes and their suitability for DC schemes and scheme members
  • Understanding of the issues involved when transitioning investments between different pooled funds
  • Good knowledge of active and passive management and the different styles of active managers.
  • Good understanding of performance measurement techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the
    ability to build and maintain working relationships with both internal
    and external clients.
  • Anticipates potential problems and is proactive and creative in identifying solutions.
  • Consistently acts with the highest integrity and professional standards.
