Aon are currently recruiting an Organisational Design Project Lead to join our team Aon Inpoint in London on a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract. This role will report to the HR Director.
Aon Inpoint organisation has recently created a new vision, mission and service model to empower results for its clients. Consequently, Aon Inpoint needs to redesign the core elements of its operating model, people, products and processes.
To do this a Transformation Programme has been kicked off with a number of work streams within it, one of which is the “building and energising Talent” work stream focussing on organising, attracting and developing Aon Inpoint’s unique talent. The overall objective of this work stream will be to review, design and implement organisational and governance structures required to deliver on the vision and maximise Aon Inpoint’s efficiency, efficacy, and opportunities for colleagues and overall engagement. In addition Aon Inpoint aims to improve cooperation and support to other Aon colleagues. The works team will identify a set of key deliverables, KPI’s and actions where required changes are needed.

As Organisational Design Project Lead some of your key responsibilities will involve:
* Reviewing and finalising Aon Inpoint global team structure and organisational design including defining with clarity operating model and processes, job roles, mandates, leadership and management processes, resourcing plans and governance structure
* Designing careers and drafting a career and competency framework to achieve business strategy, aligning job levels and role profiles
* Designing target performance objectives and ensuring they are aligned with Aon Inpoint’s new Client Service Model
* Training, assessing needs and designing strategy for minimum and best practices per job level
* Driving colleague engagement, assessment of key areas to address, developing action plans (overall and local)
*Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
As Organisational Design Project Lead your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
* Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of experience and education
* Proven experience in a corporate HR or L&D environment
* Hands on experience with Organisational change and design projects
* Proven ability to consult with key stakeholders up to and including the executive leadership team
* Strong business acumen and ability to rapidly acquire a thorough knowledge of the Company and business model
* A track record of working on Organisational change and design projects ideally within financial or professional services
* Practical experience of implementing talent development practices, including career pathing, job description design, development planning and competency design
* Excellent project management skills and attention to detail, including ideally, experience of projects with global breadth
* Ability to assist others in working through barriers to achieving project goals and mitigating risk
* Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint
