Job description

We are looking for a switched on and motivated Customer Service Executive to join our rapidly growing online business. With the patience and communication skills to deliver exceptional customer care, this role is ideal for graduates looking to get involved in a dynamic, young web startup.

AnyVan is an online platform that facilitates the movement of items across the UK and Europe at a discounted rate. With over 1,800,000 users and 50,000 transport providers, we are changing the European transportation landscape by bringing convenience and cost savings into a fragmented market. About you:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective handling of inbound telephone enquiries including:
    Quote enquiries, assistance with use of the website, technical support and advice on the best possible solution for the customer's delivery needs
  • Effective handling complaints/dealing with issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Effective handling of email enquiries
  • Making outbound follow up calls to build rapport with customers, close sales and increase conversion rates

Must have’s:

  • Impeccable written and spoken English!
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude, self motivation and enthusiasm
  • An upbeat, friendly telephone manner and good sense of humour
  • Great attention to detail, ability to multi-task and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers
  • Confidence speaking to a range of stakeholders including, customers, transport providers and managers
  • Previous experience in a busy call centre environment (desirable, not essential)
  • A great sense of humour!

Office hours are 9am-6pm, Monday - Friday. Immediate start.
Competitive salary, depending on experience - plus bonus. We are based in Hammersmith, West London.
