Job description
The award winning Anna Fiorentini Theatre & Film School has supported hundreds of inner city children since its establishment in 2001, and has an excellent reputation within the performing arts industry. Earlier this year we also launched Stage & the City; after-work performing arts classes for adults that wish to have fun. ALL profits from this new venture go to the Fiorentini Foundation charity, which provides bursaries for disadvantaged children that wish to attend the Fiorentini School.
We are looking for a highly motivated, organised and energetic individual to help us build partnerships with local schools and businesses as well as build up our student database and events through social media and off-line marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Promote the Anna Fiorentini Theatre School and Stage & the City by expanding our social media profiles and online marketing
• Take leadership in creating a vibrant online presence for the school, through regular posts and updates on social media and other online networks
• Create and maintain partnerships with local schools - offering incentives, such as free places, in exchange for publicity amongst their parents
• Create and maintain partnerships with local businesses including offering mutual marketing
• Create regular press releases
• Promote our corporate team building activities which helps raise money for our charitable arm, the Fiorentini Foundation

Desired profile
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Proven knowledge of social media, (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
• Working knowledge of Hootsuite social media platform
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• IT literate (Word, Excel, Google Docs)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven organisational skills; the ability to plan and prioritise and to work to deadlines
DESIRABLE:
• Valid DBS/CRB (criminal records) check - interns without one will be asked to undergo this check as you will be working with student information
• Blogging experience
• Qualification to Degree level or equivalent
