£6.70/hr - up to £10.00/hr

Angard Staffing provide mail sorters for Royal Mail, one of the UK’s most trusted and recognised companies. We now have a number of great opportunities for Christmas work. You will work as part of a team ensuring we deliver the high standard of service Royal Mail customer's expect.

YOUR ROLE

As a delivery postwoman or postman, you will be the public face of Royal Mail, it’s the person you see delivering your post every day.

Due to modernisation the postwomen and postmen work more sociable hours and your day will start in the local delivery office, where you will collect your mail for your round, you may finalise sorting the mail into your delivery route - or it may have already been sorted for you.

After that, you will start your delivery round, usually with a colleague in a shared van or using a trolley. You will have a hand held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. Your round will take approx. 4 hours to complete and thanks to our new delivery methods you will not be carrying heavy bags, however it will keep you fit.

Our commitment to our customers is that we will deliver in all weathers and your role in making that happen is critical

HOURS OF WORK

Monday to Saturday from 8am to 2.30pm

PAY RATE

Exact rate will be confirmed at interview by the Royal Mail manager.
