Our brand new home offers an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join Anchor's team!

Mayflower Court care home in Southampton is a 72 room new development and will offer superb person centred care. Facilities will includea café, bakery, arts and craft area, library, hair salon and beauty salon.

Contracted hours: 33.5 per week

Reporting into the Care Manager, responsibilities will include:

Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating andreviewing care.

Shift management and delivery of rota's, performance of the care teams and embedding.

Anchor's culture and behaviours.

Dispensing of medication, ensuring procedures are being followed.

Delivering a quality service in line with CQC essential standards, improving the quality of customer's lives.

Required/Preferred knowledge:

Care level 3 diploma or team leading qualification and experience of delivering "hands on" care as a Senior Carer.

People management experience within a customer focused environment.

Health & safety legislation along with the knowledgeof safeguarding of vulnerable adults

(local/national policies) and the mental capacity act.

Required Skills:

Commitment and passion to provide high quality care.

Well organized with the ability to negotiate and influence.

Flexible to work shifts including weekends, reliable and able to adapt and work under pressure.

Approachable attitude.

Able to work as part of a team and individually.
