What is the purpose of this role?

Working in the newly established Group HSEQ (Strategy, Insight and Innovation) team, the Senior Business and Market Analyst will develop and implement progressive data and information capture and analysis to inform improvement and position the organisation as best- in-class.

We will work along-side the Group HSEQ policy, standards and compliance team to deliver a portfolio of data-driven innovation and improvement projects, that help position our internal and external customer as best-in-class.

What will this role involve?

Analysing internal and external data and information to identify issues, trends and improvement opportunities Communicating outputs of analysis to inform improvement and innovation Undertaking performance benchmarking Capturing and processing innovations and ideas from the business Acting as the focal point with Work Winning Services to ensure that the Amey ‘bid offering’ is best- in-class Establishing process and performance measurement and management regimes to support programme / project delivery Managing all Corporate and Group HSEQ and Sustainability Reporting Co-ordinating communications, engagement and campaigns Preparing presentations, training, and campaign materials Research and support for business development

Attendance at both internal and external events

Designing new systems for the capture data

What are we looking for?

Qualification and education:

You will have an interest in HSEQ and Sustainability
You will be degree educated in any relevant field

Skills and experience:

You will have good analytical skills – able to interpret patterns and trends from data
You will have a basic understanding of statistical analysis
You will have excellent written skills
You will have a creative flair for turning data into intelligence, helping to communicate messages and influence

Behaviour:
