Management Accountant
Weare seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join Amey working onthe Welsh Water contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for anearly qualified or qualified professional who is looking to progress withintheir career. You will provide financial support for the contract / profitcentre management team and ensure that both internal and external accountingand reporting requirements are delivered and control standards met.

What will this role involve?
- Production of monthly management accounts and preparation of periodic budgets and forecasts
- Completion of audit packs to assist in interim / annual audit process
- Production and reporting of cashflow forecasts
- Reporting and explanation of variances to profit centre managers
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience of working within a similar industry in Construction or Services would be beneficial but not essential
- Part / qualified or QBE
- Ability to work independently with minimum direction
- Ability to achieve tight deadlines with high degree of quality and understanding
- Strong IT skills including good knowledge of SAP and Excel
- Good knowledge of accounting practices, statutory regulations and reporting requirements and experience of forecasting
- Profit centre reporting and variance analysis experience
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Environmental awareness Tool Box Talk
