As an American Express Financial Service Representative, you will service our elite customers who deserve and expect the ultimate in service. Servicing our customers in a fast paced airport environment with foreign currency exchange, traveller's cheques and various other products.

Responsibilities:

· To sell and buy up to 40 different foreign currencies

· Deliver outstanding customer service in line with the brand values

· Offer effective, efficient and courteous service to customers at all the times.

· Work as part of a team to achieve company goals

· Balance a till and own responsibilities quickly, without mistakes.

· Be present at the assigned counter position at all times when on duty to serve customers.

· Comply at all the times with company policies on audit, counterfeit notes and anti-money laundering legislation.

· Communicate with customers and colleagues with speed, accuracy and tact.

· Channel suggestions and opinions to management.

· Participate on company initiatives.

Desired profile

Skills Required:

· Previous cash handling experience

· Customer service experience

· Excellent oral and written communication

· Candidate must have the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy while working under pressure in a team environment.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

· Sales expertise is preferential

· Foreign currency experience is preferential

The position details are:

· 36 hours per week, calculated over a rotating shift pattern

· Rotating shift pattern working 3 days in work, and then 3 days off

· Fixed term contract for 6 months with potential to lead to a permanent role

· Shift times can vary based on our opening hours 03:45 – 23:15
