Program Operations Account Sr. Analyst, Lodging is responsible for managing the day to day relationship of an assigned portfolio of TLS Lodging Supplier Partner accounts. The role manages end to end operational engagement of suppliers within their account portfolio including FINE HOTELS & RESORTS, THE HOTEL COLLECTION from American Express, and any other global TLS Preferred Programs contracted with managed brands. The Analyst is expected to ensure contractual compliance and integrity of Supplier information within American Express platforms globally including Contract Database, MAPS, PSP, PPP, AxtraWEB, Card Member direct on-line, and GDS platforms (SABRE, Apollo, Worldspan and Amadeus) that drive to point of sale tools. In addition, this role coordinates overall engagement strategy in conjunction with TLS Marketing, effectively managing access and communication for assigned portfolio including: Rep Reporter, international office communications, internal incentives, and supplier/travel counselor access. Parallel to daily business functions, the analyst will lead business process improvement initiatives (re-engineering) designed to drive operational efficiencies in the organization.
Tactical responsibilities include:
· Continuous analysis of brands within assigned portfolio to ensure rates, critical sales information and appropriate content is displayed within American Express TLS offices globally
· Resolve escalations that prevent seamless Card Member experience at point of sale (off line and on-line) in an efficient and expedient manner
· Relationship management of assigned portfolio to identify Agent Engagement & Learning opportunities that align with TLS Marketing strategy and brand growth targets (growth of brand relative to overall program growth)
· Report data for dashboards, scorecards and selections process
· Lead and Manage program and platform enhancements/process improvements by deploying detailed analytical review and project management structure
· Collaborate effectively with Strategic Partnerships Marketing Team and Global TLS offices to ensure compliance of operational content
· Manage on-going contract maintenance (renovations and closures, flag changes, adds/drops)
Desired profile
· 2+ years of experience in an analytical position
· Strong preference for previous travel industry knowledge or experience
· Strong Excel skills including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets.
· Demonstrated analytical skills and strategic thinking to improve process and drive implementation, including the ability to analyze large sums of data from multiple sources, summarize key trends and takeaways, and use data to identify opportunities for process improvement
· Demonstrated superior project management skills/experience and attention to detail
· Demonstrated success driving multiple projects/priorities forward concurrently
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong internal/external relationship management and influencing skills
· Experience developing and executing winning strategies
· Flexibility and creative problem solving skills
· Strong operational knowledge of MS Products including Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word
· Strong will to win in a dynamic and fast paced environment
· Knowledge of SABRE GDS, Apollo, Amadeus and Worldspan preferred
