Job Responsibilities : Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Owns all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications; Performs hands-on architecture, design, and development of systems.
· Functions as a member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development practices – tools, common components, and documentation
· Develops deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains
· Works closely with Product Owners and Architecture on blueprints and annual planning of feature sets that impact multiple platforms and products
· Typically spends 70-80% of time writing code and testing, and remainder of time collaborating with stakeholders through ongoing product/platform releases
· Provides continuous support for ongoing application availability
· Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies
· This “rebel with a cause” looks beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities

Desired profile

Required Skills/Qualifications :

· 3+ years of software development experience
· Demonstrated experience with Waterfall, Agile or other rapid application development methods
· Demonstrated experience with Mainframe - JCL, COBOL is required
· Demonstrated experience in DB2 (Stored Procedure, Data Replication, Performance Tuning) is required
· Demonstrated experience in coding native SQL and Stored Procedures is required. IMS DB is a plus.
· Experience with Middleware Utilities (e.g., Data Power, MQ/MQ Series) is a plus
· Demonstrated experience with Job scheduling (e.g, Job Trac, Control M) is required
· Demonstrated experience data utilities (e.g., Event Publisher, Q-Replicator) a plus
· Experience with REXX, SYNCSORT, File-Aid, Xpediter, and Easytrieve is a plus
· Experience with web services and open API development, as well as SOA concepts, is a plus
· Experience with payments technology and industry is a plus
· Knowledge of Object Oriented programming (e.g., Pega, Java, .NET) is a plus
· Ability to effectively communicate across third parties and technical and business product managers on solution design
· Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems
· Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation
· Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software
