Opportunity to join an exciting new team of professionals dedicated to driving improved economics, efficiency and effectiveness within our World Service Network (Network Engineering & Optimization). The candidate will be responsible for conducting analytics and providing thought leadership in pursuit of this goal. In addition, the candidate will: Be working in a service environment, supporting contact center operations, process improvement, workflow and capacity management . Support the business with process improvements, feasibility analysis, demand management, defect elimination for the purposes of generating cost-savings and improve customer satisfaction . Work closely with Operations leaders and other support teams to identify & execute new opportunities and successfully work towards developing and implementing existing ideas and projects . Query large sets of data, analyze them, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to the business using statistical and data mining techniques combined with business and operational knowledge . Develop cost-benefit analysis and prepare business presentations to share with leadership and gain buy-in . Improving the economics and quality of our operations through the redesign of work flow, process defect elimination, competitive benchmarking . Application of statistical and mathematical optimization techniques. This includes, but is not limited to, data gathering and analysis, volume forecasting, capacity planning/management, and developing performance metrics The utilization of Six Sigma methodologies such as DMAIC and LEAN methodologies are strong focus areas of this group coupled with expertise in applied Project Management framework tools. Desired profile
B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and/or Applied Operations Research required . Minimum 1 Year work experience In Industrial Engineering, consulting or project management. . Ability to communicate orally and in writing with superiors and peers in a clear, consistent manner. . Adept at problem solving and quantitative analysis using superior analytical skills . Proficiency with Industrial Engineering tools and techniques such as FMEA, Regression Analysis, Hypothesis Testing, ANOVA . Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio, SQL, MS Project and Minitab required . Proficiency in statistics, data mining, queuing theory, predictive modeling, simulation, and operations research strongly preferred . Demonstrated experience in project management, continuous process improvement problem solving methodologies, root cause analysis, and cost benefit analysis. . Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and creative individual committed to delivering results within strict timeframes. . Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or in teams. . Results driven with the ability to manage projects and initiatives to completion. . Experience In financial services, call centers, or other service industry a plus . PMPĀ® training/certification or demonstrated application of methodology a plus . Six Sigma training/certification or demonstrated application of methodology preferred
