Job description

This opportunity is in the fast-growing American Express Business Insights business, part of a high-energy, entrepreneurial team that is developing new business opportunities, launching new products and services, and expanding product distribution to support merchant value and drive fee-based revenue growth. • Provide anlytics for OptBlue merchants. Identify areas of opportunity to make analytics more robust and make recommendations. • Customize the existing BI products to meet client specific needs through appropriate data segmentations as per requirement • Identify opportunities to automate report delivery process. Own the report production process and effectively respond to changes in report specifications. • Ensure timely delivery and maintain data integrity through a rigorous review process

Desired profile

/SQL and UNIX required. Skills should include: 1.1+ years of SAS coding experience in a business environment (standard SAS/SQL functions, monitoring jobs, reviewing log files, macros) 2.BS in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering ; Masters preferred 3.Understanding of table structures, data relationships, and data coding. 4.Experience with VBA to build automated reports is preferred.
