This exciting role sits within the Global Merchant Services Marketing team that manages the Amex Offers Pipeline.
Key objectives are to drive Card Member spend on the American Express Network, generate Fee Based Revenue, and drive satisfaction with our Merchant partners.
You will help support Amex Offers team including supporting delivery of end to end tactical campaigns, ensure portfolio measurement and analytics are delivered, manage End to End offer set up, managing offer pipeline spreadsheets, system management and monitoring, Digital Offer Ecosystem reporting and data analytics. The successful candidate will:
· Support the Amex Offers team to manage the DOE pipeline
· Support the Marketing Consultation team deliver value to our Merchant partners by leveraging Amex world class digital capabilities to help Merchants meet business objectives
· Flawlessly execute objective-led Merchant marketing strategies with Managed Merchant accounts to drive merchant satisfaction measured via annual Net Promoter Score survey (NPS)
· Leverage our transformational digital capabilities and distribution channels to drive our Merchant and Card Member marketing strategies
· Manage budgets, and external agency relationships
· Effectively manage internal data and reporting requirements for the department
Requirements / Competencies:
· Background in Consumer Marketing and/or Campaign Management preferred
· Strong process or project management skills and excellent attention to detail
· Experience in marketing campaign execution or implementation in digital/online channels, project / campaign management and an interest in technology/systems
· Strong communication skills, with ability to translate and explain technical concepts in a simple, easy to understand way
· Excel and strong analytical skills – comfortable with large data sets
· Strong problem solving skills
· Strong organisational and relationship skills – ability to work with internal and external partners
· They will need to be self-motivated and able to act with a high level of independence
Desired profile
· Demonstrated experience and passion for B2C Marketing and Digital Marketing
· Excellent attention to detail
· Experience of analysing and interpreting data, to thoroughly understanding of the performance of channels, campaigns and customer segments
· Strong communication skills, with ability to translate and explain technical concepts in a simple, easy to understand way
