Job description
The Acquisition Enablement and Acceleration (AEA) team is part of Integrated Marketing Solutions (IMS) within Global Consumer Services Group (GCSG) at American Express. IMS team provides strategy, analytics, and capability development to 20 proprietary international markets. AEA team is the digital product owner of application forms that are used by sales agents in Face to Face or phone or third party partner channels for instant capture of credit card applications with the aim of providing best-in-class prospect experience and accelerating growth through new card member acquisition.
Job Responsibilities: Card member Acquisition is the largest investment in the GCSG organization at American Express. Marketing Analyst in Application Acceleration and Enablement team is an exciting career opportunity within American Express. Incumbent will play a pivotal role in transforming the acquisition experience for prospects across international markets with the goal of increasing application approvals, reducing cancels and accelerating approved applicants' ability to spend.
Responsibilities include:
· Build subject matter expertise in New Accounts processes across international markets to identify opportunities to improve acquisition experience, increase conversion rates and reduce cancel rates
· Working with 3rd party agencies to develop and test enhanced acquisition journeys
· Partnering with World Service, Risk, Compliance, market, Technologies & central enablement teams, etc. to identify and implement capability & process enhancements

Required Skills/Qualifications:
· Self-sufficient – willingness and ability to work proactively and independently Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Ability to interact effectively with all levels to influence and drive results without direct authority
· Highly effective business partner relationship management
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
· Ability to work with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to summarize complex analyses for various audiences
· Willingness and flexibility to partner with business teams across the geographies
· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science or other related fields required
Preferred Additional
· Experience building digital experiences and customer journeys with 3rd party agencies (UX/UI, Usability testing, etc)
· Experience partnering across business units and time zones to drive medium and large scale capability initiatives
