Financial Analysis Manager - Transfer Pricing

Job description

• Responsible for obtaining data, analyzing and substantiating intercompany charges between American Express affiliates;
• A basic understanding of transfer pricing principles or a knowledge of American Express' international operations.
• Perform comparable searches using transfer pricing software (comparable databases).
• Maintaining library of inter-company agreements; and,
• Supporting the preparation of American Express Company's Transfer Pricing documentation for the U.S. and other markets.
• Assist tax personnel in international markets to obtain data for local transfer pricing documentation.
• Assist in data gathering for Transfer Pricing audits. Experience:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in a Transfer Pricing role (in a consulting or in-house environment) Software:
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Prior exposure to tax research databases and/or other tax-related software beneficial. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Basic/Advanced understanding of Transfer Pricing guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage competing demands and execute assigned tasks quickly and accurately.
• Strong ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.

Desired profile

•Candidate should hold a Chartered Accountant qualification and have through understanding of accounting and tax compliance principles.
•Candidate should also have a working knowledge of Transfer Pricing regulations.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
•Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and set and adapt to changing priorities.
