This is an opportunity to join the fast growing Global Business Consulting & Solutions (GBC) organization supporting the Global Corporate Payments (GCP) business within American Express. This GBC team brings the talent, tools, and management consulting experience needed to develop a range of customer-centric procure to pay strategies while also providing global and multi-national clients innovative solutions and insights to optimize their Amex B2B payments programs. Among our offerings, we provide: P2P process optimization, supplier relationship management, strategy & policy, enhanced spend analytics, benchmarking and Amex B2B program optimization.
· Conduct analysis on client's transactional AP data, identify trends, and support development of recommendations for client's procure-to-pay (P2P) challenges
· Work collaboratively with project team members and clients to achieve project goals and complete deliverables on-time
· Create standardized and repeatable templates for P2P projects
· Support research and development of white papers on various procurement, Finance, AP and Treasury related topics
· Develop skill set as an expert in the area of Procure to Pay

Desired profile
• Excellent Excel skills at a minimum, including: Ability to create, quality check, and modify advanced formulas, Data merging, Pivot tables, Graphs, Vlookups, Visual Basic and Macros is a plus
• PowerPoint: Creating graphs & tables, Maintaining consistent formatting via use of the Master
• Comfortable working on multiple engagements with competing deadlines
• Proven ability to work with and analyze large data sets
• Strong analytical skills with ability to understand data and develop insights and recommendations
• Must be detail oriented, very organized, and a quick learner
• Strong collaborative/interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Prior procure-to-pay experience is a plus
• MBA preferred
