Overview :
Integrated Marketing Solutions (IMS) plays a lead role in accelerating the growth of American Express's international card issuing business (Global Network & International Card Services) across 20 proprietary and 100+ partner markets. The group is responsible for central marketing functions, including acquisition and early engagement, emerging commerce, customer marketing, rewards, and operational excellence. The Partner Analytics is a global team with responsibility for accelerating AXP's growth with key bank partners. The team leverages AXP's closed loop data and other data assets to develop bespoke and ‘off the shelf' analytics products to support partner acquisition and customer engagement initiatives. As the analytics SMEs, the team will work closely with business development, marketing and other IMS functions to ensure the development and flawless execution of value adding products and analytics services. The team will cater to a variety of audiences and needs, and will range from business intelligence capabilities through to advanced analytics. The team will be focused on designing intuitive, innovative new product constructs to an external partner standard, which combine the latest data analytics advancements with internal marketing best practice. The team will have responsibility for execution, and delivery of bespoke and automated analytical solutions to strategic bank partners. The team works with external partners, cross functional internal teams, as well as other parts of the Partner Consulting team to develop a culture of innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Evolving the Partner Analytics product line strategy, including the development of scalable solutions for internal and external customers
· Execution and delivery of custom and bespoke marketing analytics solutions to strategic bank partners
· Support business development efforts by ensuring optimal understanding, production and presentation of analytical solutions
· Translation of complex analytical output into easily digested insights with clear recommendations
· Awareness of competitor products to ensure relevance, scope and competitive advantage of Partner Analytics product offering

Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Experience in one or more of the following areas: marketing, customer insight/analytics, risk management
· Excellent knowledge of SAS and SQL, encompassing data manipulation and statistical modeling/data mining techniques
· Knowledge of R and hands-on experience with big data and machine learning is a plus
· A passion for data analytics, including knowledge of key industry trends, and ideas on how data can be used in a marketing context to understand and influence customer behaviours
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to storyboard ideas well
· A Master's degree in a quantitative discipline and/or an MBA with a quantitative background is preferred
· Experience in a consulting/analytical consulting/product development environment is preferred
