Global Merchant Services (GMS) is the merchant network of American Express which acquires and maintains relationships with millions of merchants around the world who welcome American Express Branded cards.
Why this role?
The GMS International Digital Marketing Delivery team is responsible for digital marketing campaigns that are managed across International markets via the Amex Offers platform.
We own the e2e campaign set up and manage the process across our offer platform to support our merchant objectives via these marketing campaigns. The team ensures that these campaigns are effectively developed in alignment with the overall business vision, and meet a clear user need. We own the Amex Offers processes and work with technologies, regional and local marketing teams and customer service to bring Digital to life.
As our Assistant Marketing Manager, Rewards Platform you will be responsible for:
· End 2 End digital marketing offer campaign set up, monitoring and reporting across Asia Pacific. Providing insights on campaign performance back to the business to drive learning and improvements.
· Enhancements (work with marketing teams to facilitate the development and launch of new Registered Card enhancements)
· Customer Service and Tech Liaison to drive issue resolution for live campaigns
· Act as a subject matter expert on Registered Card and offer consultation and advice to local market teams.
· Across all digital offer systems, help establish best practices and identify areas for improvements.
Desired profile
To be successful in this role you will be/have:
· Background in consumer marketing and/or campaign management
· Strong communication skills, with ability to translate and explain technical concepts in a simple, easy to understand way.
· Strong problem solving skills
· Strong process or project management skills and excellent attention to detail.
· Strong organizational and relationship skills – able to work with internal and external partners.
· Excel and strong analytical skills – comfortable with large data sets.
· Ability to work in a regional environment across diverse markets.
· Experience in marketing strategy development or implementation in digital/online channels, project / campaign management and an interest in technology/systems
· Tertiary qualifications in marketing or a business discipline. Knowledge of American Express Cards, services and benefits, and/or understanding of the Financial Services Industry viewed favourably
