Assistant Manager – Emerging Channels and Data Partnerships ANZ – 12 Month Secondment/ Contract

As a part of our Propriety Card Engagement Marketing team, you'll have the opportunity to deliver on our brand promise, execute compelling marketing campaigns and manage special projects to enhance our existing Card Member base. This role will suit someone who enjoys a diverse, fast-paced, and results-driven environment. With a digital first mindset, interacting with global marketing teams, external vendors, technology teams as well as creative and media agencies. The successful candidate will show a flare for innovative thinking and an interest in data driven solutions to create marketing excellence.

This role is responsible for identifying and delivering new and emerging communication channels that successfully extend our marketing reach within the existing customer base. The role will use an innovative approach to data management and use this application to drive new opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. A strong back ground in campaign design and delivery will help test and implement new opportunities across the business.

As our Assistant Marketing Manager – Emerging Channels you will be responsible for the following:

·  Identify and enable new marketing channels to further drive customer (Card Member) engagement – test and establish end to end campaign delivery
·  Local market contact for centrally led new channel development (Australia and New Zealand)
·  Provide subject matter expertise for emerging channels – best practise and governance
·  Drive marketing transformation in “off Amex” channels (Australia and New Zealand) including Facebook, LinkedIn, Google + media & display networks
·  Local Market ownership of 1 st Party Data systems
·  Lead maximisation opportunities
·  Work in conjunction with Central teams to influence local market priorities
·  Relationship Manager of 3 rd Party Data Partnerships
·  Identifying opportunities to leverage and adopt external data sources
·  Maximise our targeting capabilities in new and emerging communications channels
·  Marketing Preferences Project
·  Own strategy and execution to improve our opt-in penetration for existing customers
·  Maximise marketing opt-in capture via capability enhancement and campaign delivery
·  Experience dealing with creative and digital agencies culminating in flawless end to end marketing execution

Desired profile

·  Tertiary qualification in marketing or business discipline preferred
·  Background in consumer marketing and/or campaign management across all media channels with a strong focus on digital innovation and asset creation
·  Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously adhering to time lines, a self motivator who takes initiative when faced with a challenge
·  Customer focused with the ability to build effective internal and external business partnerships
·  Attention to detail, and being results oriented with excellent organizational skills
