Overview of The Department : The Digital Customer Experience organization (formerly AXPi) is focused on enabling innovation, accelerating agility, and empowering customers through breakthrough digital products and experiences. This position is on the Digital Content and Communications team within DCE, which is tasked with increasing digital engagement by driving customers to AmericanExpress.com, and once there, delivering contextually relevant, timely and compelling content to our customers across the experience.


This position will primarily be tasked with helping to manage marketing content on Amex.com, which includes a series of targeted placements throughout multiple pages on the site. This role will be focused on interfacing with internal partners to source content, providing guidance on copy and targeting to optimize performance, overseeing internal submission processes, and partnering with our operations team on campaign management and reporting. In addition, this role will support the Senior Manager of Digital Content Strategy in the development of new content experiences throughout Amex.com, working closely with Product, Design, Analytics and Testing teams to ideate and test concepts.

Job Responsibilities:
· Serve as primary owner of Amex.com marketing channel, including:
· Develop relationships with marketing managers throughout American Express for sourcing of content
· Act as day-to-day liaison with marketing partners, including consulting on copy and targeting best practices, as well as submission processes
· Partner with the operations team to ensure timely launch of all campaigns
· Manage weekly reporting, including sharing results with internal partners and DCE leadership, as well as evaluating outcomes and recommending adjustments to optimize future campaigns
· Develop testing strategy focused on proving the value of delivering timely and personalized content
· Liaise with internal teams on the launch of new targeting capabilities
· Lead quarterly forums focused on sharing best practices, new capabilities, and industry trends
· Assist with strategic projects, including developing new marketing placements and identifying new types of content for Amex.com
· Stay abreast of digital marketing trends and industry best practices

Desired profile

• At least 1-3 years work experience
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to build and leverage relationships across cross functional teams
• Excellent organizational and project management skills (attention to detail, handling multiple priorities, managing tight timelines)
• Comfortable with analyzing numerical data and working with Excel
• Ability to think creatively to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
• High energy, enthusiastic and results-driven
• Proactive, with ability to work independently
• Previous experience with digital marketing, highly preferred

• Bachelor's Degree required
