The Analyst, Operations, is primarily responsible for the monitoring, tracking, data validation and execution. This position involves developing new reports as well as performing ongoing investigations and analysis to ensure that payments are optimized and executed according to plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform daily bank account downloads
· Run daily scripts to ensure all information is up to date and not duplicated
· Run daily script to separate payments into manual and file groups
· Download and print all manual allocations sent to GPS mailbox
· Check that all funds received are sent to the correct payment channel
· Match funds received to manual allocations received
· Create the daily Standardized Allocation Template (SAT), which consists of
· All manual allocations received in .XLS and ;CSV format
· Convert, where necessary, any allocations that are received in .PDF format
· Manually key any allocations received via fax or unconvertable PDF
· Balance all allocations transferred to SAT against original allocations and funds received.
· Prepare, validate and create SAT upload file
· Copy any payment information that cannot be matched to the Outstanding List (OSL) and send to CRBS File Release, GPS CPC Canada, and American Express Payment Services Canada email addresses by 11:30AM
· Forward all funds received information to File desk for processing
· Open and close all GRIP cases where necessary
· Participate and contribute to Global Payment Servicing projects
· Back up other team members when on vacation.

Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Post-secondary education in Commerce / Business Administration / Finance and Accounting
· You have a strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of tools especially Excel
· You should have good time management skills and be able to prioritize and manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
· You should be very customer service minded, responding quickly and courteously to internal and external requests
· Business systems analysis skills
· Ability to work in an Agile environment
· Willingness to learn new applications
· Strong communication skills
· Strong coordination skills to ensure that all defects and enhancements are tracked, documented and prioritized in a timely manner
· Team player who does not mind becoming a generalist where they can work on multiple different tasks where there is need
