DESCRIPTION
Worldwide Commercial Sales Strategy, Operations, and Enablement (WW SSOE), is looking for a Global Training Delivery leader who will build and lead a team responsible for sales field training execution excellence. This role will be responsible for developing a training delivery strategy, consisting of both internal and external training instructors, in support of global programs. The candidate will work closely with sales leaders, functional stakeholders, and field teams to understand training objectives and outcomes, develop detailed training delivery proposals, and manage the flawless execution of training plans that proactively include a variety of key AWS stakeholders across our Leadership teams on a regular, consistent basis.
We're looking for a passionate leader who can deliver training programs that will help to build AWS service expertise, technical skills, business acumen and commercial acumen to drive improvements in field sales productivity, and maximize instructor utilization. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and a proven ability to successfully deliver training programs to Field Sales Organizations. We are seeking a leader who can raise the bar on training program delivery, and execution. To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must be an entrepreneurial self-starter who is prepared to Think Big, and Dive Deep.
Desired profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 8+ years of management experience leading sales training delivery in the IT industry.
· Proven ability to effectively manage training and curriculum strategy, talent and cost.
· Skilled in conducting training needs assessments and developing training plans by field role (Account Manager vs. Solution Architect, etc.).
· Experience developing sales onboarding programs and continuous learning paths.
· Proven ability to engage with and present to senior executives (C-level).
· Travel expected to be >50% to monitor programs, facilitators, and proactively iterate on curriculum, to meet the changing demands of our customers, and the market.
