The WFS Launch Team is a centralized team that supports site launches within Amazon across all lines of business. We are looking for a dynamic, and organized self-starter to join the WFS Launch Team as a Business Analyst.

What is the role?
The Business Analyst role will be responsible for diving into the complex data sets and analyzing the intricacies of our systems and processes. Key areas of responsibility include researching and analyzing data sets, participation in projects, and partnering with various stakeholders on building tools, automating reporting, research and deep dives. The ideal candidate in this role will be responsible for compiling and centralizing launch metrics and KPIs and building a user interface for data points and reporting in QuickSight. This role will also be responsible for automating manual processes within the Launch Team with a focus on eliminating defects and adding efficiencies in everything that we do.

A successful candidate will have a strong blend of project management skills, with an ability to conduct in-depth analyses, think big, and identify opportunities. Must have the ability to communicate well and manage multiple assignments stakeholder relationships simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
• Development of data collection processes and data management systems
• Maintenance of data integrity
• Enhance present day WFS outputs, focusing on efficiency and standardization relating to launch planning, reporting, and continuous improvement Design, optimize, and compile queries to generate reports in Tableau, QuickSight, MS Access and Excel
• In-depth research of defect trends, data collection, and entry as needed
• Data mining and problem solving to present analysis in easily digestible standard reports
• Gather and understand data requirements, work with the team to build systems that can process and transform the data
• Modeling data and metadata to support ad-hoc and pre-built reporting
• Manage business critical initiatives to enforce standard work and reduce waste
