We are seeking a talented and passionate UX Researcher to join our growing Global Talent Management team in Edinburgh, Scotland.

You'll lay the groundwork for our research strategy, and will regularly influence new and exciting experiences across a variety of categories and devices. You'll assist teams through discovery, design, and evaluation. You'll meet with stakeholders to understand the big questions and ideas we have, and create a realistic research schedule to address those questions and educate the teams. You'll consult with designers and product managers on a variety of projects to help drive superb product experiences for our customers. You'll facilitate brainstorming sessions based on customer problems and opportunities. You'll use storytelling mechanisms to engage the team and bring customer problems to life. You'll be able to engage with our broader UX Design and User Research community, giving you fantastic opportunities to learn, contribute, and participate in our UX seminars and events.

You're an experienced UX researcher who continues to learn new techniques and follows trends in the industry. You're skilled at multi-tasking, and at equally at ease facilitating in-person research work and digging into survey results. You're passionate about converting research learnings into actionable product decisions. You utilize of a wide variety of user research methods, and a top-notch communication style that you can effectively tailor to customers, stakeholders, and leadership while defending your findings with data. You have a broad range of research methods in your toolbox, and you're able to quickly assess which method, mix of methods, or new approach is required to answer the team's critical questions.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years proven success leading user research projects with demonstrated impact
· A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g.: study plans, reports, visual artifacts)
· Experience operating as an individual contributor in a user research role
· End-to-end experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
· Hands-on experience with: lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, field research, international research, and survey design.
· Strong grasp of quantitative data analysis
· Exceptional behavioral data-collection and analysis skills, e.g., designing, conducting, and analyzing all kinds of user data.
· Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
· An unfailing passion and capacity to advocate on behalf of our users.
· BS in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or similar.
