We are seeking a talented and passionate User Experience Designer to join our growing Global Talent Management design team in Edinburgh, Scotland. You will be highly motivated with proven user experience, user interface, and visual design skills, and have created elegant, intuitive experiences that meet business needs and influence future product direction. You will have strong creative and technical ability, a focus on the customer experience, great teamwork and communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

You will work in partnership with a number of Agile software development teams at our development centre in Edinburgh, Scotland, launching and growing new talent management initiatives for Amazon's global workforce. Your team will own user experience research, ideation, design, user testing, giving you the responsibility and authority to ensure success. You will be involved in every aspect of the process - from research, idea generation, user journey design, low-fidelity wireframes, through to final high-fidelity design and implementation.

You will have extensive experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, service designer, design strategist, information architect, or similar role. You will have a portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions, including rich interaction design.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Proficiency in delivering workflows and a variety of low and high fidelity user interface designs using tools such as Sketch, Axure, Photoshop, Illustrator.
· Experience designing rich interactive experiences, particularly large and complex web applications.
· Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate design concepts clearly and persuasively.
· Experience working directly with developers to synthesize feedback, research and data, and drive implementation of designs, successfully releasing and growing products with rich interactive experiences, particularly large and complex web applications.
· Strong written and verbal English communications skills.
· Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or equivalent professional experience.
· Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, including the use of libraries such as React, jQuery and Bootstrap.
