DESCRIPTION

Amazon is looking for a high-judgment individual to join us as an Investigator, to evaluate transactions and safeguard Amazon's global customer base, profitability, and brand while maintaining a high bar of customer experience. We are specifically seeking applicants with fluent Polish language skills to support our global operations teams. Candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties related to the Investigation and Elimination of online ecommerce risk. Ideal applicants will have experience in the ecommerce payments space, previous trust and safety experience, and experience succeeding in a customer-driven workplace. All candidates will be analytical and capable of succeeding in a fast-paced team environment.
The Transaction Risk Investigator position relies on excellent judgment to plan and accomplish goals and will work under very limited supervision of the Manager. Excellent individual problem-solving and analytical skills are used to authenticate customers and complex transactions.
The Transaction Risk Investigator will be required to engage in frequent written and verbal communication with department management, risk analysts, risk engineers, other company associates and third-parties to accomplish goals. The researches and evaluates facts surrounding buyer and/or seller transactions. Takes appropriate action on investigated transactions based on established SOPs and tools. Documents their actions by providing detailed annotations. Communicates with external customers via phone and email during the investigation process.
Communicates with internal customers and peers in person, via email, annotations and phone during and following the investigation process.
Productivity and quality assurance will be evaluated along with the overall contribution to the development of the department.
Role Requirements
· Investigate suspicious buyer activity and behavior that could pose a risk to Amazon, our customer’s, or merchants.
· Communicate via email and telephone with buyers, merchants, and other external and internal customers to make informed decisions about risk.
· Maintain Amazon's site quality by enforcing Amazon's Policy Guidelines.
· Take appropriate action based on established procedures and document those actions. When procedures are not available, follow established escalation paths to ensure resolution.
· Participate in other special projects/assignments and Partner with appropriate business teams as necessary.
· Achieve weekly productivity and quality standards for investigations.
· Experienced in the internet space and capable of succeeding in a fast-paced team environment.
· Be prepared to be flexible with working hours and work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Fluency in other European languages an advantage.

· Excellent written and spoken Polish and English skills and an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses.
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external customers
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and make complex investigation decisions with little to no guidance.
· Excellent problem solving skills.
· Exceptionally strong customer handling and conflict resolution skills with a keen focus on quality and customer experience.
