The Amazon Freight product allows Shippers to use Amazon's transportation network to transport products in bulk across Europe. This is an innovative technology- driven solution for the shipping needs of small and large businesses, which is scaling rapidly as an offering. Amazon Freight is a part of the Amazon Transportation Services organization in Europe which is a cutting-edge supply chain technology organization and responsible for many of Amazon's best-in-class logistics offerings.

Amazon is looking for a Luxembourg based Transportation Planner for the Amazon Freight Operations team, the backbone of the service. This person will be responsible for generating optimized transportation plans and working directly with shippers to ensure excellent customer experience. A successful candidate will be results driven, analytical, communicative, and customer focused. They will also work to continually improve planning processes and customer experience.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Create trucking routes ensuring customer promise and financial goals are met daily
- Work directly with shippers to schedule pick-ups (via phone or email) with Amazon managed transportation
- Be the voice of the customer (Shipper) and ensure the Product and Tech teams take this into account when developing new features
- Lead new projects and initiatives to solve customer pain points, optimize planning methodologies, and build new tools

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree from a reputed university
- Strong communication skills
- Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills
- Entrepreneurial, self-sufficient and able to operate in a fluid, ambiguous environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English (other European languages are a plus)
