The Amazon Alexa Business Excellence (BEx) team is looking for an experienced individual who has led process re-engineering efforts in a fast-paced environment, applying Six Sigma and/or Lean Principles that lead to scalable business solutions. The successful candidate must also possess a proven ability to translate business needs resulting for redesign efforts into system requirements. The ideal candidate must also be able to dive deep, be able to invent and simplify, deliver results quickly, and have a strong bias for action.

Responsibilities
· Gathers, refines and validates complex business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks and issues
· Is the “voice of the operations” or single point of contact to all technology teams supporting Alexa Data Services (ADS) and ADS BEx to manage dependencies, prioritization, and trade-offs for both core technology requirements and programmatic planning/execution of roadmap supporting functional business needs of various ADS tooling
· Leads Process Redesign Efforts and resulting system requirements that facilitate scale and business excellence in support of business growth goals.
· Analyzes BEx operations and BEx partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions
· Assists in the business process design or redesign and documentation as needed
· Translates high level business requirements into functional specification documents and partners with Technology teams to ensure specifications are understood and successfully implemented
· Lead User Acceptance Test activities in partnership with Technology and Operations teams
· Facilitates communication and gains commitment between business units to align solutions with business strategies
· May coach and mentor less experienced staff
· May assist the project manager in managing the technical risks for the overall program

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
· 3-5 years of relevant technical or business work experience
· Experience implementing Six Sigma and Lean principles in fast-paced environments
· Understanding of technical/system integration points, processes, and their interdependencies
· Experience leading User Acceptance Testing
· Experience working with team members remotely, using phone, email and online collaboration tools effectively
