The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills; written and verbal, while delivering this knowledge across a variety of platforms and process improvement areas within Amazon Robotics' fast-paced, growing organization. This position will lead small projects that establish content management best practices, localize technical content for new regions and develop web and mobile applications that make content more accessible.

This position requires someone who has a passion for learning. This role develops skills with documentation and content management. We are looking for an individual who thrives on empowerment and accountability. This position is on the Learning and Information Development team.

Overview/Responsibilities:
· Deliver high-quality documentation (accurate, complete, discoverable, usable), checking for errors in spelling, grammar, and hyperlinks.
· Working knowledge of content management and authoring tools. Use customer-centric writing, design, and research methodologies.
· Develop and implement style guides for existing content.
· Follow best practices to ensure documentation meets the standards for quality, graphics, format, and style.
· Establish a review process for updating documentation as directed.
· Identify product and documentation improvements that would benefit customers. Make the necessary changes in the documentation.
· Ability to leverage and enhance existing technologies and information systems within an organization.
· Respond to customer feedback and demonstrate a bias for action in resolving bugs (technical errors, broken links, and typos) and addressing content requests.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing and Communications, Education, Business, Engineering, or another technical communications-related field.
· Information architecture design and/or Content Management System (CMS) background.
· Ability to leverage and enhance existing technologies and information systems within an organization.
· Experienced in SharePoint architecture and management.
· Familiarity with version control (Git) and documentation authoring tools (Sphinx).
· Writing experience within the software and hardware engineering industries.
