The Amazon Studios team is chartered to produce original content and license studio programs worldwide in service of Prime Video customers. The team is responsible for bringing popular TV and movies to their customers and introducing distinctive, critically-claimed award-winning originals like Transparent and Mozart in the Jungle and ground-breaking, popular shows like The Man in the High Castle.

We are seeking a System Development Engineer to be a part of the Amazon Studios Product & Technology team. The core mission of the team is to create a cloud-based set of applications, services, data and infrastructure to automate and streamline studios operations and provide insights to foster data-driven decision-making.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of experience in Software Systems/DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer role or application development in distributed systems.
· Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
· Strong scripting / automation skills in Python/Ruby/Java/Bash.
· Experience with open-source technologies (Linux, Spring, Memcached, Elasticsearch).
· Strong fundamentals on Unix/Linux operating systems.
