DESCRIPTION

AWS is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to lead and continue to expand the business with one of our largest French customer.

The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for providing business leadership and creative direction to this key customer. You will build and maintain broad relationships in the account, develop and manage opportunities, and lead a team of extended resources. You will define a CXO relationship strategy within the account, including building a strong working relationship with the AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorship, executive business reviews, and shaping go-to-market opportunities.
The ideal candidate will possess both a business and technical background that enables them to engage an account at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· To team up with the customer's organization, which includes executives, engineering, business owners, legal, and others.
· Connect at the most strategic level within the account and implement a broad strategy to earn customer acceptance and service implementation.
· To understand how to strongly advocate for their customer and balance that with the business needs of AWS.
· To create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
· Build and execute the startegic account plan.
· Expect moderate travel.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience as the global/strategic/key account and relationship manager of a large enterprise account.
· Quota carrying sales experience with a leading technology company.
· Strong verbal and written communications skills in French and English.
