Following the product debut in Seattle in 2015, Amazon Restaurants is now providing one-hour food delivery to Amazon customers in most major metropolitan areas across the country. Amazon Restaurants is doubling down in key growth areas. In 2016, Amazon Restaurants launched Daily Dish, a corporate lunchtime delivery program. Customers can order from a specially curated lunch menu each day and have it delivered directly to their office at lunchtime. The convenience and top-rated restaurant selection have made Daily Dish a crowd-pleaser, and we are excited to bring this to more customers!

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Account Manager to drive the growth for Amazon's Daily Dish lunch delivery business. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in Account Management, is highly analytical and has a terrific reputation for achieving goals while insisting on the highest standards. The candidate has strong interpersonal skills and enjoys daily interactions with restaurant owners.

In this role, the SAM will own metro performance and selection strategy. The ability to dive deep into data and make sound business decisions is paramount to success. They will support Business Development partners to ensure metro operations are running efficiently. This opportunity offers a strategic, fast paced and entrepreneurial work environment that will play an integral role in building and developing a critical facet of the Amazon Restaurants food delivery business!

Daily Responsibilities:
· Owns all facets of Account Management for metro, while developing strong relationships with local restaurant POCs ensuring they receive the highest level of operational customer service
· Define and execute selection strategy to drive order conversion
· Analyze large datasets to determine top performing cuisines, dishes and restaurants in metro
· Own all post-live Account Management and coaching, handling day-to-day restaurant incoming contacts as well as recruiting and onboarding new selection
· Ensure restaurant performance raises the bar by continued audits and merchant scorecard reviews
· Partner with Sales counterparts to ensure a seamless merchant experience during onboarding
· Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews with internal and external POCs
· Write strategic business plans to identify opportunities for growth across Business Development, Delivery Operations, Marketing, Product and Tech – input and learnings will be paramount helping build and maintain the product
· Partner with marketing to provide metro specific selection learnings to help inform customer acquisition and retention strategies

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualifications
· Bachelor's degree required
· 3+ years Account Management experience
· Proven track record of consistent account growth and exceeding sales goals
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills - ability to use hard data and metrics to drive decisions
· Experience with CRM and analytics tools
· Roll-up sleeves mentality - values teamwork and has a positive attitude
· Extremely personable, with excellent written and oral communication skills – excels in the ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
