You must demonstrate the ability to efficiently drive multiple projects throughout all phases of design, permitting and construction administration.

You will be an integral part of the team that works cross-functionally between Real Estate, Construction, Store Operations, Facilities, Tech, Security, Loss Prevention, and Amazon vendors. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams, external consultants and vendors throughout the store development process. Oversight of consultant performance is critical. This candidate must have a professional and positive demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively with business partners at every level, including leadership. Key responsibilities for this role:

· Translating brand design standards and concepts in an innovative yet fiscally responsible way
· Review site survey to insure jurisdictional and landlord requirements are incorporated into the design of each store
· Complete test fits and feasibility studies for potential locations
· Working with key internal and external stakeholders in the production of comprehensive design development packages
· Creates presentation packages as needed to communicate design
· Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
· Drive and create Schematic Design Packages
· Coordinates with construction team on budget considerations and value engineering efforts
· Manages consultants throughout the construction document and permitting process
· Provide Construction Administrative support as needed
· Archives completed drawings, redlines, and shop drawings
· Obtains landlord approvals per lease requirements
· Reviews and approves submittals and shop drawings
· Demonstrated ability in building and health codes, 3D visualization, and industry trends
· Demonstrated ability to communicate design vision in visual, written, and verbal formats
· The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem solving skills
· Proven track record of owning projects from start to finish
· Proactive and flexible attitude; willingness to take an “all hands on deck” approach
· The ability to work effectively in an extremely fast paced, ambiguous environment
