As a member of our Palo Alto design team you will contribute to the product roadmap, drive future concepts, and deliver improvements to current applications within the AWS Analytics services. Collaboration and product ownership is essential, requiring you to be a great communicator, and successfully present and align with a variety of stakeholders. Additionally, you must be able to work with ambiguity and deliver designs that elevate the AWS customer experience as a whole.

Amazon Elasticsearch Service makes it easy to deploy, operate, and scale Elasticsearch for log analytics, application monitoring, full-text search, and more. Amazon Elasticsearch Service is a fully managed service that delivers Elasticsearch's easy-to-use APIs and real-time capabilities along with offering predictable performance and seamless scalability for production workloads.

Key responsibilities
· Owning the design process, from research, through conceptual design, UX design, testing, and html prototyping
· Presenting work to stakeholders, developers, and other designers in AWS
· Designing conceptual wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, information architecture diagrams, interaction specifications, and functional prototypes
· Contributing UX patterns and guidelines to the AWS design system

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· At least 7+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar UX-related role.
· Fluency in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques.
· At least two years of experience working in a collaborative team and directly with developers for implementation of designs.
· Independently delivers UX solutions for problems oflarge scope and complexity. Engaged with management in design planning and goal creation.
· Is considered an expert in combination of core UX and front end engineer disciplines, e.g., user interface, interaction design, information architecture and/or visual design.
· High proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JS, capable of producing html prototypes.
