Amazon is looking for a talented Business Analyst to support the newly founded team: EU Supply Chain Programs. T
The EU Supply Chain Programs Team owns all vendor facing supply chain programs, a corner stone of amazon's strategy to innovate in behalf of our customers. It incorporates Direct Imports from Asia, Pan EU Distribution Services and Amazon's Dropship program. We cover the breadth of strategic, commercial, planning and ordering aspects of the business and work closely with various operations and compliance teams across the globe.
As a Business Analyst, your focus would be to partner with the business to deliver sound, data-backed recommendations and reports, identify areas of improvement and suggest/implement solutions. You will closely work with retail teams in 6 European locations as well as with our departments in US and China.
The ideal candidate will be excited about using data to understand and improve the EU Supply Chain Programs. They will be curious and comfortable digging deep into data to identify areas of improvement in our processes and partner with the business to find effective solutions. They should be experienced in working with large data sets, be tech-interested and have an ability to work independently and convince teams across Amazon to support their ideas.
This role is based in our EU Headquarters in Luxembourg. Luxembourg boasts a rich cultural scene and a high standard of living.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 3+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role
· Advanced proficiency in SQL (With statements, CTEs) and understanding of data warehousing
· Supply Chain Experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Excited to analyze and explore large data! You will have the opportunity to give potentially game-changing recommendations to the business
· Data analysis experience (in a business or academic research setting) involving making hypotheses, accessing and prepping data and drawing actionable insights
· Bachelor's or Master’s degree with analytical/ technical elements for eg. Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Math, Statistics, Finance, Economics or similar
· Demonstrated technical expertise in at least one of: SQL/ R/ Python/ Matlab/ Stata/ VBA
· Great verbal and written communication skills to influence your stakeholders and manage expectations
· Excellent time management skills
