AWS Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective AWS customer experience, best practices, and obsessing about strong success for the Customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product, service, and training teams, to deliver the right solutions and drive feature innovations for our customers across all industries. Engagement Managers help Customers make decisions to meet their technical and business objectives by providing best practices, proactively identifying and closing project gaps.

AWS Prescriptive Guidance (APG) team drives global programs that support our AWS Professional Services as they help our customers succeed. We are looking for an experienced Global Solution Catalog Architect to own conceptualizing, designing, implementing and governing APG Solutions aligned to our prescriptive guidance content lifecycle process. This includes harvesting solutions from customers, global customer delivery teams, solution architects, internal services teams, and partners. This role will also be responsible for creation of solution intake mechanisms to capture, cleanse, prioritize, assign, review and publish prescriptive guidance to AWS online properties. The architect will coordinate with multiple content intake teams to analyze and report on key data to drive high-value & high-impact content decisions. This leader will also collaborate with delivery consultants, partners, practice managers, specialty practice leads and other program managers to define the strategy, plan the implementation, drive execution and communicate results for the programs in their portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a perfect balance of deep technical architecture knowledge and complex program management experience. The person will show serious customer obsession and have broad experience working on global, cross-functional programs with team leadership or program and/or project management experience. In addition to deep technical architecture skills, the ideal candidate is comfortable wading through large sets of data to find insights about content impact and value. This person also has excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated leadership in delivering business results while working in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities and Capabilities include:

EXPERTISE:
· Work with the ProServe, Partner BDs and other communities to harvest new content and optimize mechanisms to prioritize content for authoring.
· Harvest and capture new solution opportunities and partnerships
· Work backwards from customer requirements and evaluate captured solutions for compatibility and reusability
· Organize solutions into the established APG framework grouped by technical and business outcomes
· Prioritize content effectively and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization
· Partner with your program sponsors to define program strategy and key performance indicators for our prescriptive guidance development efforts.

DELIVERY:
· Present and lead conversations about solutions in the pipeline, prioritization strategies, feedback from customers, operational and quality gaps, optimization strategies and resolutions to outstanding issues to leadership and stakeholders.
· Deploy metrics to track progress against program metrics, report bi-weekly/monthly on progress and define annual goals.
· Represent prescriptive guidance to AWS leadership, including supporting global and regional summit events.

SOLUTIONS:
· Develop and run solution acquisition platforms and programs at scale aligning and influencing all practices within Professional Services.
· Find and analyze large sets of data and create actionable insights that help prescriptive guidance team make customer-focused decisions.
· Build and maintain documentation deliverables, dashboards and communication materials for portfolio programs.
