As a manager of the development team, you will be responsible for establishing the vision in this area, guiding the technical roadmap, and leading the team to deliver. You will recruit and grow top talent into the team. You will be responsible for scaling and adapting this system to future requirements and maintaining flexibility to meet the business' rapidly evolving needs. Having keen interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), NLP, ML and Big Data is crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities
· Establish a vision for the space and guide technical roadmap
· Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed project plans and schedules
· Establish complete data driven process
· Hire and develop the best talent
· Instill best practices in the team
· Collaborate with business partners to come up with requirements for the product
· Work with stakeholders in successful delivery of the product
· Communicate out and represent the team effectively in meetings with leadership

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Software development background in object-oriented programming, distributed systems, Java, C++
· 2+ years of management experience
· Experience with Web services (SOA), open source solutions
· Thorough understanding of Agile / SDLC
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
