Software Development Engineer - Test

DESCRIPTION

Amazon AWS Aurora team is looking for exceptional, motivated software test engineers to lead the automated testing initiatives for our enterprise grade cloud database service.
We believe that giving talented engineers lots of freedom and autonomy is the best way to build great products. SDEs at Amazon have industry-leading technical abilities that enable them to significantly improve product quality. We are looking for leaders with a combination of solid in-depth understanding of computer science principles and knowledge of how to architect software for maximum longevity.
We are looking for SDETs who are passionate about working for Amazon and building high-quality and highly-scalable applications and services.

What you'll do:
· Develop automated tests for Aurora database service
· Maintain and enhance our automated testing platform and pipelines to help us build reliable, scalable, high quality cloud database services
· Participate in design and implementation of test infrastructure to support moving services to a Continuous Deployment

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field.
· 5+ years of experience as a developer or SDET.
· 1+ years of expertise in an object oriented programming language.
· Automation architecture development and/or maintenance experience.
· Ability to programmatically test any software product and develop automation for it.
· Unrivaled attention to detail.
