Job Overview – As an Amazon Robotics Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Feature and full system testing of the AR software and hardware solution.
-Collaborating with product management, architecture and development organizations to formulate and write comprehensive system and feature test plans.
-Installing, configuring and testing Amazon Robotics software and hardware in multiple test environments.
- Writes and execute complex system and feature-based test plans. -Creating and tracking software defects found during testing using a defect-tracking system (JIRA).
-Verifying bug fixes and regression testing new releases of Amazon Robotics software.
- Assists other testing analysts with approach and technical issues.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

-BS or MS Degree in CS/EE or equivalent
- Has some knowledge of software quality engineering best practices
-Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Jython, Python, Bash)
- Linux/Unix operating system knowledge and experience
-Understanding of relational databases (MySQL) and SQL querying tools
-Experience with and understanding of XML
-Experience with bug tracking systems (Bugzilla, JIRA, ClearQuest, etc)
-Excellent written and communication skills
