Alexa for Kids is Expanding!

Alexa for Kids is part of Amazon's FreeTime product, specifically designed for kids and families. Come and join us to help build a child directed Alexa experience that kids will love and parents will trust. Children should be able to have a fun and educational experience with our product and parents should be comfortable having their kids use Alexa without close supervision.

In addition to parental controls, Alexa for Kids brings the benefits of our award winning FreeTime Unlimited content subscription to Alexa. This includes Audible books, movies, TV shows, educational apps and games and premium skills from content brands we all know and love. It provides peace of mind for parents with controls and monitoring through Parent Dashboard, and a world of fun for kids where they can choose from thousands of the most popular titles and age-appropriate content, all hand-selected by the FreeTime team. FreeTime is available on Fire Tablets, Fire TV, Kindle e-readers, compatible Android and iOS mobile devices, and compatible Alexa devices. More information can be found at http://www.amazon.com/freetime.

Do you want to create and deliver innovate consumer software products for millions of customers around the world? We are growing and looking for talented Software Development Engineers to join the Amazon FreeTime team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing child directed features across many different Alexa domains. You will have an opportunity to build services and work on systems operating at massive scale and high transaction volume. You will apply design patterns to solve hard distributed computing problems. Your product and features will be used every day by people you know.

Our goal is to create a revolutionary experience for parents and kids to enjoy on our Amazon family of devices. Working for Amazon FreeTime offers a creative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you will be at the center of Amazon innovation.
