Do you want to create and deliver innovate consumer software products for millions of customers around the world? We are growing and looking for talented Software Development Engineers to join the Amazon Kids team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing child directed features across many different Alexa domains. You will have an opportunity to build services and work on systems operating at massive scale and high transaction volume. You will apply design patterns to solve hard distributed computing problems. Your product and features will be used every day by people you know.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
· Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results
· Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the complete software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and deployment

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
· 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
· 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
