How would you organize and search hundreds of thousands of unstructured documents spanning several languages? How would you programmatically identify that a policy exception is allowed—in under a millisecond, without requiring any user input?

CS Tech builds the software that powers Amazon's call centers. Our systems are used 24x7 by tens of thousands of users who are satisfying millions of Amazon customers. Our users are spread across the world, and our systems support two dozen (and growing) languages. Our team is a tight knit family, and our focus areas and success measures are well understood.

An SDE on our team will have opportunities to work with a wide range of technologies, from web apps to web services to databases to search engines. In addition, the role will offer project management, leadership, and system design opportunities, as we are engaged on virtually every new initiative. You will work with highly talented and competent peers, and you will make direct, measurable impacts to the end user experience.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
· 3+ years of software development experience
· Demonstrated proficiency in Java or C++
· Practical understanding of object-oriented design
