We are currently seeking an HR Analyst to play a key role within the EU Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) HR Function.
Amazon Transportation Services (AKA ‘Middle Mile') consists of Line haul, Sort Centre's and support functions.
This person will provide regular HR Information and Analysis to the EU ATS HR and operational team and wider business. In addition support the HR team on projects to provide technical expertise to ensure processes are effective, standardised, automated and scalable.

Deliverables/ Scope:
· To produce regular reports and analysis, write system queries to gather information, and perform data-mining and analysis using tools including MS Excel, SQL and VBA to identify trends and recommend opportunities for improvements.
· To critically review current HR reporting tools to ensure that they remain relevant and used, redesign reports to ensure they are streamlined and effective. Provide analysis that will enable the EU/HYD HR teams to understand the root causes of key HR metrics, including absence and attrition, and measure process changes and improvements of these.
· To own daily/weekly/monthly HR Metric reporting, including communication, trend analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
· Own Talent Management data extraction, and produce preparation slides for local and EU Talent reviews
· To work in partnership with the HR/ER Project managers and HRSS/Zabka to build reporting and other technical solutions that support automation and streamlining of HR Processes
· To partner with EU and NA HR teams to ‘learn and be curious' in order to ‘invent and simplify'
· To administer, support, coach and contribute to the development of HR Management Information to enable the HR team to fully deliver the business goals.
· To roll out any tool changes as directed by the HRIS/Tech teams to the EU network
· To work with the HR and business teams to agree, implement and report on KPIs for HR.
· To know and understand the variances of people related tools across EU, HYD and NA and build alternatives for parts of the business not yet standardized
· To drive data accuracy at all times and provide an audit function for the HR teams.
· Responsibility for HR knowledge management store – ensuring version control is used and effectively managed.
· Good understanding of best practice HR calculations e.g. absence and attrition
· Produce reports that interpret data that supports the HR team
· To support the measurement of HR Projects

· 5+ years' work experience in relevant field
· Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
· Technical Expertise and in-depth knowledge of planning and analysis tools; solution driven approach to system and process; advanced computer literacy (MS Excel, SQL /other Database).
· Strong stakeholder management and engagement through effective and appropriate communications
· Able to communicate complex messages and outputs from their analysis in a confident and ‘simple way', and the ability to train others in technical/analysis skills.
· Strong tactical level operator; thrive on analytics and detailed investigation; able to coordinate workload
· Decision Making/ Complex Problem Solving- proactively gathers the right data from appropriate sources, probes/considers all of the facts, considers other perspectives; conducts root cause analysis; refers to long term plans and goals; prioritizes key factors; acts decisively, promptly and confidently; complex analysis
· Proficiency with quantitative analysis, and database skills required
