The future for Prime Video International is very exciting with many launches and new products to be released in 2020 and we are looking for a smart, customer-obsessed and analytical Site Merchandiser to help grow our global digital video business and create innovative and engaging customer experiences across our website, mobile and living room devices.

As Site Merchandiser, you will be part of Prime Video’s International Marketing team and responsible for driving a best in class customer experience by (1) executing campaigns that feature new movie and TV content, including Prime Originals, (2) crafting plans for targeting and launching promotional campaigns, and (3) developing messaging, content segmentation, and customer segmentation strategies (across Prime and non-Prime customers) to increase customer engagement.

You will also contribute to the development and testing of new product features, working closely with our Amazon Video International Expansion Marketing, Product and Tech teams.
You’ll have an eye for compelling merchandising, an aptitude for data-analysis, and a passion for continuous content testing. You will hold a high bar for measurement of merchandising activities and will define success metrics, measurement methods and reporting processes for your efforts. You will learn from and share best practices across Amazon Video teams. A passion for movies and TV shows is a plus! Site Merchandiser Duties & Responsibilities will include:

· Owning one O&O marketing channel (ex: storefront, X-site, outbound...), defining the marketing strategy and the content calendar, leading the roadmap for this channel to increase viewer acquisition and engagement.
· Creating and scheduling individual merchandising campaigns to the international Prime Video homepages across website, mobile apps, and living room devices including new content launch support and seasonal promotional campaigns.
· Optimizing content campaigns, messaging and navigation through frequent testing and data analysis, documenting the results, sharing best practices, and forming recommendations for next steps.
· Collaborating across business lines and with internal teams to manage calendar and share of voice allocation across high visibility placements and devices.
· Working closely with product and tech teams to test and implement new features and influence product roadmap based on PV international requirements and priorities.
· Partnering with our marketing and content acquisition teams to craft and execute promotional events and bespoke content launches.
· Identifying opportunities for content scheduling and process efficiency and automation, working cross-functionally to implement them.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrated experience using data and metrics to measure performance and determine improvements
· Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
· Comfortable operating with considerable autonomy and possess decision making skills when faced with ambiguity
· Experience writing customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to online customers
· Experience managing large amounts of data
· Ability to analyze data quantitatively and use customer research, data and metrics to back up assumptions, identify opportunities, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
· Understanding and use of web metrics to measure performance
· XML/HTML skills: no need to hand-code, but you can troubleshoot
· Comfortable with a varied set of software and editing tools. Ability to learn new tools quickly
· Familiarity with databases and SQL
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of marketing experience
· Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
· Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
· BA/BS required
· 3+ years relevant work experience in roles requiring data analysis, process improvements, creative problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration
· Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
