Amazon is continuing to invest in its Worldwide Online Display Advertising business to tap into the growing online advertising market. Amazon DSP is a demand-side platform that enables advertisers to programmatically buy display and video ads. The Amazon DSP team is looking for an experienced Product Manager who will help to define the vision and strategy for the Demand Side Platform and to deliver that for our customers. Amazon is using its first class technology, unique user data, and cross-device user identification to become the go-to solution for the world’s largest advertising agencies and advertisers. We are seeking a product leader with the experience, drive and strategic vision to win in the growing and competitive programmatic industry.

We're seeking a Product Manager to oversee major initiatives of the Amazon DSP. The person in this position will play a significant leadership role in our business and product team. In this role, you will you will be responsible for critical product initiatives such as the product capabilities we need to drive superior performance for our advertisers.
In this role, you will manage the lifecycle of a product and have considerable impact on the business. You will set the product vision, define use cases, analyze customer and financial implications, and ultimately choose the most promising path for success. You will own the roadmap for the product and make decisions as to feature priorities. You define the problem we are trying to solve, desired customer experience and product strategy.
The right candidate will possess a strong product and program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large products and projects, will have background in digital advertising (ideally mobile advertising), and ideally will have a well-rounded background in current web and mobile technologies. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
As a Product Manager, you will be 100% customer focused, understanding their needs and requirements, plus anticipating future trends that will serve their needs. You will also be excellent at delivering results, being able to coordinate large, multi-functional projects on-time, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence and leadership are essential to success in this role. You will be data-driven and analytical. You constantly strive to expand our understanding of the metrics that drive our business and growth aspirations. Lastly, your communication skills – both verbal and written – are excellent, and you will be able to clearly communicate at all levels in the organization, including senior management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in digital advertising and familiarity with technical aspects of digital advertising
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholder needs in a fast paced environment across geographies
· Ability to dive deep into technical concepts with successful past delivery of technical user-facing products
· Passionate about generating big, creative ideas to differentiate in the market, growing the business and working with advertisers and agencies to build innovative products
· Lead and influence across different organizations and align diverse teams to a common goal
· Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive; demonstrated ability to have fun and inspire the team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
· 5+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience
· Bachelor's Degree
· Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
· Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
· Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
· Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related fields
· 7+ years Product Management experience
· A proven track record of delivering initiatives from conception through completion on time, within budget and on or beyond scope
· Excellent oral and written communication skills – with both technical and non-technical individuals
· Ability to gather and analyze data for reporting technical and business metrics
· Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high pressure environment and able to adjust to multiple demands
· Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically.
· Analytical and able to create sound business arguments backed up by data
· Passionate and knowledgeable about new and emerging mobile and internet-based media and its technology
· Demonstrated ability for being detail-oriented, self-motivated and driving follow-through on projects
