We are looking for product-aware engineers who can jump into any area of the stack at a moment's notice. The right person will have a strong ability to understand the user they are building for and to participate in both the debate of what to build and also how to build it. We create great healthcare experiences by combining robots, legacy healthcare systems and modern APIs like those of Stripe, Twilio, and PokitDok. The right person will enjoy learning about and building on top of this diverse array of systems.

WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF WORK THAT OUR ENGINEERS HAVE DONE AT PILLPACK?
· Web dashboard for customers to manage medications and insurance
· Automated prescription refill management tool to guarantee that our customers always have the medications that they need
· An end-to-end shipping and logistics system to guarantee that our customers' medications arrive on time
· Scalable service-oriented analytics data pipeline
· Customer notification service that integrates email, SMS, phone, and mobile push

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
· Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education
· 5+ years professional experience in software development
· Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
· Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
· Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
· Knowledge of, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
